Baby showers are all the rage at the moment, thanks to those days spent in lockdown, having exhausted everything on Netflix, scrolled entirely through Instagram, and having nothing else to do except for that wonderful “afternoon delight” resulting in a healthy boost to the current population.

As I noticed the rise in expecting moms in my hive of women, I understood that I would be attending a myriad of baby showers in the next year, be it virtually, in person, or drive by. Thank you pandemic for changing the fibers of reality!
Whilst pregnant during the thick of the pandemic, my sister had planned a surprise Zoom room filled with family and friends waiting to celebrate with me in the safety of their homes.
